Unique shops provide great shopping experience

     Gourmet cookware, antiques, hourglasses and many other unique items are available to those who browse the shops of downtown Chillicothe.

     Shoppers can start at one end of Water Street, shop for several blocks, then head up Paint Street for more experiences. The downtown district is compact, stretching two blocks wide by four blocks long.

     Free parking is available along the streets for two hours and more parking is available in public lots at Water and Paint, West Second Street, West Main Street and Paint and Fourth streets.

     Shop hours vary, but generally, most shops are open 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. weekdays and Saturdays. Most are closed on Sundays.

     Several unique restautants and coffee shops provide respites from shopping.
